Next week I’ll be speaking at a couple of different events about a couple of different things.
Monday 20th March 2017 - University of Greenwich, London
I’ll be presenting to computer security students at the University of Greenwich about life as a penetration tester. It’s always enjoyable helping young, enthusiastic people work out which direction to take their career in. Penetration testing has a bit of a rock ’n’ roll reputation but the reality of it day-to-day can be quite different from what people expect.
There’ll be war stories, hoodies and more than the odd mention of Microsoft Word.
Tuesday 21st March 2017 - PHP Cambridge
A technical lightning talk about the recent WordPress 4.7 REST API bug. It’ll be a quick run through of why it was vulnerable along with demonstration of how to exploit it.
It’s free to attend so come along if you’d like. There’s some other great talks on that night, I’m looking forward to the Ansible one personally.
